Kindergarten

Our kindergarteners have been working hard! They’ve participated in digital citizenship lessons, covering topics such as Sites I Like, Saying Goodbye to Technology, and Safety in My Online Neighborhood.


With iPads, students have worked on math with Dreambox, reading with Amplify, and had fun with PBS Kids!

First Grade

Our first graders have worked on several digital citizenship lessons, including Internet Traffic Light, Pause and Think Online, and How Technology Makes You Feel.


In February, the students started the typing program using external keyboards that plug into their iPads. They love typing!

Second Grade

Second graders have worked on several digital citizenship lessons as well, including Device Free Moments, Digital Trails, and Online Communities. They’ve also made progress in their own typing program.


But the highlight so far this year is coding with the Dash robots!

Third Grade

The digital citizenship lessons third graders have done include Online Identity, The Power of Words, and Password Powerup. Third graders have made amazing progress in their typing program, with two students having completed all of the lessons; there are over 1,000 of those!


Students have also learned about research and creating a project in PowerPoint. After spring break, they’ll have their own time to code with the Dash robots.

Fourth Grade

The digital citizenship lessons fourth graders have done include Media Choices, Private vs. Personal Information, and Our Online Tracks. Students have also worked throughout the year on their typing program, as well as researching and creating online products, such as PowerPoints.

Fifth Grade

Fifth graders completed some more challenging digital citizenship lessons, including Identifying Clickbait, Cyberbullying, and Reading News Online. Students have also worked throughout the year on their typing program, as well as researching and creating online products, such as PowerPoints.

Robotics Club

For the first time this year, fifteen students in third, fourth, and fifth grades had the opportunity to participate in a robotics club! Starting in November and ending with the district competition in May, students have built robots, programmed them, driven them to complete tasks, and built their own competition course.
